to upload image, click the icon next to smile, then choose the 4th option in popup and click "browse"

in fact i did make a test that downloading a file (without login) in a different location, i.e. different IP,
however that download was not counted..
btw, im alright with the service as i don't really upload so often..

BS has a nice desktop uploader, it offers best rates (second after Filesonic), and covers more countries than FSo. It also provides normal speed for free registered users 150-200kb/s average. It all looks really great at a first glance...HOWEVER: I uploaded some files there...and...you know...to be honest I have a feeling that it "steals" downloads. I might be wrong though.
